“WeRunMPLSer of the Month” is a series we write to introduce the faces that make WeRunMPLS so special. Our core is community; it was the motivation behind starting WeRunMPLS, is the foundation for every time we meet and is what guides all our decisions. Hope you enjoy!

Hi, my name is Latasha! I found out about WeRunMPLS shortly after moving to MPLS. I did some Google research on different running groups in the area and stumbled upon the WeRunMPLS website. The “all paces welcome. no one runs alone” motto is what drew me to the group!

Favorite running quote?

Probably the most motivating quote is one I read on the back of someone’s t-shirt during the TC 10 mile: “…a 70 year old is running faster than you right now…” Needless to say, I started to pick up my pace!
